1. Peter Frampton & Cheap Trick at the Starlight Theatre, June 18 – Grammy winner Peter Frampton brings his classic hits to the Starlight’s outdoor stage along as part of the 2015 Capital Federal Concert Series.

 

2. A Hero’s Life at the Kauffman Center, June 19-21 – Experience Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto performed by Ukrainian pianist Vadym Kholodenko. Also presented is Richard Strauss’ autobiographical and heroic “Ein Heldenleben’ masterwork.

 

3. Rob Thomas – UMB Big Bash at the Sprint Center, June 22 – Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Rob Thomas comes in to town to support the UMB Big Bash, a special concert to assist various KC non-profit organizations.

 

4. Widespread Panic Summer Tour at the Starlight Theatre, June 24 – With nine studio albums and more than three million records sold, this amazing band brings thirty years of great music to the Starlight stage.

 

5. Future Stages at the Kauffman Center, June 28 – Celebrate the future of the arts in Kansas City with a fun-filled day of free performances and interactive activities for the whole family. There’ll be special presentations by the Kansas City Ballet, the Kansas City Symphony, and the Lyric of Opera of Kansas City.

 

6. RUSH “R40 Live’ in Concert at the Sprint Center, July 9 – Supergroup Rush reprises four decades of blockbuster hits, featuring the band’s legendary arena rock sound.

 

7. Patti LaBelle at the Kauffman Center, July 17 – Grammy winner Patti LaBelle has won plenty of critical acclaim during her remarkable 50-year career, earning her the title of “Godmother of Soul.’ She has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and is on Rolling Stone Magazine’s “100 Greatest Singers’ list.

 

8. Train with The Fray and Matt Nathanson at the Starlight Theatre, July 17 – Platinum recording artists Train present their Grammy-winning playlist, and welcome two popular opening acts, The Fray and Matt Nathanson.

 

9. Comedian Jim Gaffigan at the Starlight Theatre, Aug. 3 – Grammy-nominated comedian Jim Gaffigan presents his unique comedic talents. He’ll be starring in a new summer show on TV Land about raising five kids in a two-bedroom New York apartment.

 

10. Shania Twain in Concert at the Sprint Center, Aug. 7 – After recently concluding her two-year residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Shania Twain’s “Rock This Country’ tour comes to the Sprint Center on Aug. 7th. As one of the world’s top female entertainers in history, she’ll be performing her amazing songbook of chart-topping hits.

 

11. Def Leppard with Styx and Tesla at the Starlight Theatre, Aug. 11 – This event features three of the biggest hard rock acts of the last 30+ years, fusing a kaleidoscope of sounds for an unforgettable evening of solid gold hits.

 

12. Idina Menzel at the Starlight Theatre, Aug. 12 – From Broadway to TV, to movies, Idina Menzel has forged an extraordinary musical career that has catapulted her to stardom. Her rendition of the hit movie Frozen’s signature song, “Let It Go,’ won an Oscar and has become an instant classic.

 

13. Foo Fighters Live at the Sprint Center, Aug. 21 – On the heels of the release of their most ambitious album yet, the Foo Fighters bring their largest ever North American tour to Kanas City.

 

14. Kevin Hart’s “What Now’ Tour at the Sprint Center, Aug. 22 – Actor, comedian, and superstar entertainer Kevin Hart brings his unique brand of comedy to the Sprint Center for two blockbuster performances.

 

15. Disney on Ice Presents: “Frozen’ at the Sprint Center, Aug. 26-31 – Kids and adults alike will love this magical live production featuring all of the lovable characters and the hit soundtrack of the highly popular Academy Award-winning movie, Frozen.
